Forgotten Handwriting

The computer has made a great improvement in our lives. We are able to achieve so many things that we sometimes never look back on how things used to be without it. We learned to write sometime in our earliest years of life and we kept on doing so every day of school, high school and college. Computers came and half of our writing needs were left in the care of word processors and printers.

There is no doubt that the evolution of technology has been an improvement on our lives, but nothing can replace the value of a handwritten love letter or a thank you letter. We are able to achieve wonderful with the computer and the internet, like send e-cards, shop online, send gifts, and even buy Viagra. But no online pharmacy or online store can replace the feeling of the real traditional things.

There is a true interest in being able to order Viagra online, no one can doubt that. However, generic Viagra and everything ordered and sought out over the web only adds points to the computer in favor of traditional methods.

Pen and paper may be one day completely replaced by word processors and touch screens but, for now it is better to know how to write by hand and not forget its value. For those who are still in school it is easier to keep up their original handwriting, but those who haven't had the need to write a report or a paper, or take a test may have lost their touch.

In order to keep your original handwriting skills and style, you may want to practice once in a while. Write a letter to someone, write your memoirs in a book, write in your diary; keep everything on paper. Even writing post-its to a roommate or the children can help sometimes. The beauty of writing something by hand should never be forgotten or forsaken due to technology.
